DECEMBER MISCELLANEOUS...

DECEMBER - 2012

Grey had Pajama Day at school.  Since it was near Christmas,
of course he had to wear Christmas PJs

And I'm so glad he did, when we were given this as a gift from him from school.

Not sure what the reindeer pjs and fireman hats had to do with each other,
but they also felt that George needed some kind of hat also.

He came home from school one day with a Santa Hat.
So of course, I had to have a picture of him in it.

Totally random - dead leaf on wooden back step...

Those are not actually hats, they are newborn photography baby sacs that
I was borrowing from a friend.

Will it ever snow?

NOVEMBER RANDOM - PART 2

NOVEMBER - 2012

On a gorgeous Sunday morning, I made everyone get up early and get all
dolled up so we could take our yearly family portrait.
Turned out pretty good, don't you think?

3.5 and loves learning how to read

One afternoon, on our way home from getting Luke from school,
the amazing light coming through the passenger side window
was highlighting a special masterpiece...
Dog Nose Art

In his father's shoes... or boots!

When I was decorating for Thanksgiving, the boys had made
these "decorations" for us to sit out...

I LOVE when he mimics me...

On my many trips to Richmond this fall, I would constantly pass this tire swing.
It beckoned for me to pull over and take it's picture.
So one day, I did...

Tried a new form of art - image transfer on wood

THANKSGIVING

NOVEMBER - 2012

For Thanksgiving this year, we continued with the tradition
we started the previous year of going for a hike
on Thanksgiving morning.  We went to Lake Anna State Park again,
but this time chose a different, longer trail.
With t'Belle in tow, we enjoyed a beautiful morning.

For years, I have been wanting a photo of Marc sporting his "Hunting" beard.
He's so Handsome with it!!!

Once back home, while Marc prepared our delicious Holiday supper,
the boys entertained themselves with a couple of
cardboard boxes, and then I helped them make some Pinecone Turkeys

Another Wonderful Thanksgiving!!
