AIR SHOW...

SEPTEMBER - 2012

The first weekend of September was a busy one.  

First, on Saturday afternoon, we took the boys

to the local Air Show.  We had never

been before, so unknowingly, we got there a little late.

But none the less, they had fun.

We did get there just in time 

for some of the stunt flying.

Love that along with the plane, I captured a bird in the frame.

The question, is the bird going to dive bomb the

man standing on top of the plane?

Just Pure Craziness...

BLUE MOON, AUGUST 31, 2012...

AUGUST - 2012

This year, a rare event occurred...

A Blue Moon.

Well, it's not really blue, and honestly

I don't remember what that means

(you'll have to Google it),

but I tried my best to photograph it.

While waiting for the moon to get high in the sky,

we let t'Belle do a little swimming and retrieval.

And then, my attempts at capturing the Blue Moon...

Obviously, my photos don't even begin to

illustrate how amazing it was.

So cool to have witnessed it.

UPWARD FLAG FOOTBALL...

AUGUST - 2012

Luke participated in the fall Upward sport, Flag Football.

From the first practices, it really looked like

he was loving it as much as he did Soccer.

You can hear his little giggle all up and down the field.

This photo is to mark the memory of 

Grey asking 317 times... "Can I Play Now?". 

He's in the middle of the word "Play", in this photo. 

And, the bokeh is really nice too in this shot.

Now he's saying... "Is it my turn yet?"

LUKE'S SCHOOL WORK...

AUGUST - 2012

So far in the first two weeks of school, 

Luke has now had two opportunities 

to draw his family. When I asked him who 

is in the picture, both times he has replied....

"me, Grey, Grandma and PaPa". 

I then ask him what happened to Mommy and Daddy. 

His answer this morning was that there 

"just wasn't room". When I gave him a "sad" face, 

he then started back pedaling... 

"no wait, that's not what I meant. 

It's you and Daddy". 

I see where his priorities are. 

Mom and Dad, I love you, but I'm a little jealous.

GREY GOES TO PRESCHOOL *sniff, sniff*

AUGUST - 2012

Luke has started Kindergarten, 

and now, Grey is starting preschool.

He is going to the same preschool that Luke attended,

Mineral Christian Preschool.

On the evening of August 16th,

Grey had his orientation.  Just like Luke,

he got to visit his classroom, meet his teachers,

and his classmates.

Doesn't he look all ready to go?

Then on Wednesday, August 22nd, it was

his first day.  Sadly, Marc couldn't be

there due to work, but let me tell you,

I don't think Grey even noticed.

He was sooo Excited!!

Older Brother looks very protective of Little Brother.

Am I sad to see him starting preschool? Yes...

... and no!!  Sad he's growing up, but happy to have

a few hours to myself a couple of times a week.

SUNDAY FISHING...

AUGUST - 2012

The weekend between Luke starting Kindergarten

and Grey starting Preschool, we spent

the rainy Sunday afternoon at the Hunt Camp.

Our mission was to fish.

Well, that was Marc's mission.

Mine was to take pictures.

They Fished... It kept Raining... 

I Photographed Everything... It kept Raining...

the Boys Explored... It kept Raining...

Basically, it was a Perfect Family Afternoon!!

So love that Luke listened to my direction and was able

to take this picture of me with my phone.
