I CAN'T BELIEVE my baby boy is One Year Old!!! Where has this past year gone? Everyone says "they grow so fast". Well, PLEASE slow down. He's not a baby now, he's a toddler.
On Thursday, September 11, 2008, Lucien Charles Faucheux turned One. Mommy went in his room bright and early with the video camera to start recording this incredible day.
Daddy made sure he was home from work at lunch so that at 12:33pm, we could sing Happy Birthday to him. After that, we let him open our presents. He got some pajamas, a new Saints outfit, puzzles, and a riding bulldozer, which will hopefully help him with walking. He's very close to being able to accomplish that major milestone.
Party Day
On Saturday, September 13, 2008, Mommy and Daddy had a Birthday party for Luke so that all their neighborhood friends could join in in the celebration of such an incredible little boy turning One.
Mommy put her baking skills to the test in creating this unique Birthday "Cake". By the end of the night, everyone had purple teeth and tongues.
Luke got a big kick out of everyone singing "Happy Birthday" to him, but he really liked the candle on his cupcake.
MMMMMMM..... I love Chocolate - or better yet Devil's Food.
Mommy and Daddy couldn't be more proud!!!!! What an amazing little boy. How blessed are we to have this little person come into our life and give us such joy.

To our beloved other son, Luke's twin, Happy Birthday! Mommy, Daddy and your older brother (by 1 minute) love and miss you very much. Did you get the balloon we sent to Heaven for you on Thursday? We watched it soar into the clouds until we couldn't see it anymore. Now that you are our special Guardian Angel, please keep an eye on your brother. He says hello to your picture every morning when he gets out of bed. I think he misses you most, since he knew you best. WE LOVE YOU!!
