THANKSGIVING

In central Virginia, Thanksgiving day dawned cold, wet and foggy.
But, inside our cozy abode, we got up and got busy creating a warm and festive environment filled with yummy delicious aromas.
While Marc was busy in the kitchen preparing what was sure to be a scrumptious holiday meal,
me and Luke had Arts & Crafts time and made paper hand Turkeys.

Grey had to stay on his normal feeding schedule, so he ate a little earlier than us. He enjoyed his nice bowl of Sweet Potatoes and Rice Cereal.
To keep Luke preoccupied, I introduced him to the game of Connect Four. Well not really the game per say...he just enjoyed putting all the chips in the slots. This pretty much entertained him the entire day.
Grey was entertained (and quite relaxed) by watching his older brother.
While waiting for our dinner to finish cooking, Marc took a moment to spend time with his boys.

And, as expected, the food was yummy, yummy, yummy. Our holiday menu included Ham (basted with Coke), Mashed Potatoes, Noodles, and Green Bean Casserole. Luke seemed to really enjoy all the wonderful flavors.
Not sure what was so funny.
While the adults finished eating, the children played.
Marc and I are so thankful for our two beautiful little boys.

We miss and love all of our family and friends who are far away, and hope you all, also had a wonderful Thanksgiving.
