PROFESSIONAL PHOTOGRAPHY....HERE I COME!!

So today, I received my anniversary gift.  Marc gave me the choice of spending the weekend at the Homestead Resort or getting a new camera.  I chose the camera.  It's a Canon Rebel XS Digital SLR.  So far, a lot of it is way over my head, but I figure if I get a "Digital Photography for Dummies" book I'll be okay.  I got it on e-bay and got a really GREAT deal.  I got the camera, three lenses, a case and an 8GB memory card all for less than I could have gotten just the camera at Best Buy.

Here are some shots I took this afternoon, just playing around, not really knowing what I'm doing.  I think they're pretty cool.

I cannot wait to learn everything there is to know, so I can capture some really remarkable memories.
