HAMPDEN SYDNEY FOOTBALL

Under a beautiful blue sky and this absolutely gorgeous oak tree,
we were guests of Colin and Jennie Monette, at their tailgate party in the Founders lot, at Marc's Alma Mater, Hampden Sydney.
We were here to see the Hampden Sydney Tigers playing the Randolph Macon Yellow Jackets, which is the OLDEST school rivalry in the South.

While waiting for the game to start, Marc and the boys got to play a little bit...
and we spotted the Tiger mascot.
What was so great about the Founder's lot, was that it was right near the football field, so we could walk back and forth as much as we wanted.
The first time we all went over together, the Tiger payed us a visit.
He kept trying to get Grey to give him a High Five.

Then, he was kind enough to have his picture taken with Marc and Luke.

While taking a break from watching the game, Marc and Luke threw the pigskin around a little bit. Here's Luke attempting to make a catch.
And here he is tossing it back.
Porkchop looked on while climbing the railing, or...
played with sticks.
Marc really had a wonderful afternoon sharing it with his boys.
After a very slow start to the game and being down 14-0 very quickly, the Tigers made an incredible comeback and pulled off the win.

Do we have a couple of future Tigers here?

A Beautiful day spent with my three men, and great friends.
