Maybe this happens with all children, but I don't know what it is with our boys, in that they Can. Sleep. Anywhere.
I've posted pictures before of Luke's peculiar spots, and I've shown one before for Grey, but here are three more for him, all having occurred since we've moved into the new house.
Grey NEVER immediately goes to sleep when we put him to bed. He will usually open the door to their bedroom and play on the floor in the hallway. On this particular night, he was up to his same old tricks, when eventually, Marc and I realized that he had gotten really quiet. When I went to investigate, this is how I found him... sound asleep on the hardwood floor.
That would have surely put a kink in my neck.
Grey has pretty much given up his afternoon nap, but occasionally he does still need the rest. This is where I found him one day, after going to look for him when he didn't come back out of the bathroom after going in to do his business... sound asleep on the rug, right by the toilet.
At least he had pulled up his pants first.
On Tuesday, Luke and I were out in the living room watching a movie, when I realized that I had no idea where Grey was. I thought I had heard him go in his bedroom a little earlier, but I couldn't hear him playing anymore. When I went looking for him, he wasn't in there. Now I have to say, their room is currently in a state of utter chaos, so I had to really look around to make sure he wasn't in there. I also looked under his covers and under Luke's covers - he wasn't there. I then searched the rest of the house. I went outside. I went to our neighbor's. He was NO where, and I was beginning to PANIC!!
Then I remembered, that Marc had told me about where he had found him once. So I looked there... sound asleep under the bunkbeds.
I wish I had this uncanny knack of being able to fall asleep Anywhere.
