This past weekend, while enjoying beautiful Fall weather, Luke made a new friend, and we got started on the yard. This is the area we tackled first - to make room for the Jungle Gym.
We were hoping, that with the ground being so wet from all the recent rain, he would be able to easily push the little trees right out of the ground... yeah... not so much. So later that afternoon, after accidentally recruiting some innocent volunteers, we got busy clearing the area by hand.
Luke turned out to be quite the little worker. He loved raking and dragging away the small branches - and the not so small. He's definitely stronger than he looks.

Next weekend we'll try to flatten and even out the ground as much as possible, and hopefully start putting together the unit.
